For all of us who loved Chris and because he was always better with words than I...
"Life is complicated, more complicated than anyone realizes. The greatest fallacy that humans have about life is that it can be made uncomplicated. It can't. The best we can do as far as making life "less complicated" is to accept life for being what it is. That is an incredibly hard thing to do, and there are times where we lose site of that fact about life. Good friends, if we are in touch with them, will help keep us on the right path, and remind us of these things." - Chris Jordan -Feb 12, 2010
I love and miss my friend but I'm glad he found peace and I hope eventually we among the living will do the same.

Miss you man. Raising a glass in your honor. I'll be sure to overreact to the FLYERS for ya too.

Hey man. I don't miss you anymore. Cause really, you're still here. Thanks for keeping all of us together. Hope you're resting easy.

I miss you Chris. You are still around, in the brightest days and the darkest nights.
What a beautiful Spring, isn't it? I finally saw it this year.

Well, I left a message for you months ago, but for some reason it was not posted. I need you here to calm me down during FLYERS games. I need you to drag me to some shows of bands you know I will hate. And I need you to tease me about my weight, my work, and everything else. I need you to help me with so many other things in my life. I miss you so much buddy.

Two memories come clearly to mind when I think of Chris. They aren't big events, just simple, fun, times:
1) I think we were in high school, or maybe early college, and we were at Meredith's house (1196). It was during the day and Chris came over with some take-out Indian food. He was raving about it and scarfing it down. I can remember thinking how a guy as thin as him could pack food away like that. I was envious! He informed us of the 15 Minute Threshold (I think that's what he called it.) He matter of factly informed us that we have 15 minutes until our body sends out signals that we're full, so when he eats food he loves, he tries to scarf it down as fast as he could. And man, he was scarfing that Indian food!
2) We were at my apartment in Elkton, MD, during our later years in college. Dave, Charley, Amy, and Don were there I think. Chris and Charley got in to a TOTAL wrestling match - super intense - but then afterwards they were totally fine. We might've walked to the WaWa across the highway to get some hoagies after that and then we played pranks on each other (Saran Wrap on the toilets, dirty kitty litter on doorknobs, silly stuff.) Good times...
I hope you're doing OK Chris. I think about you a lot.
Love...

A room for some months:
Chris came to Anthony and I saying that he needed a place to stay for a few months until he was able to sign a lease on an apartment in West Chester. He ended up staying 4 years. Those were some of the best 4 years of my life. He flowed in and out of our lives so seemlessly. He became a part of our everyday fabric. The routine was pretty simple but that is what made it so great. He was there for the subtle and the blatant events of our life. He was there for the first hours of Henry's life, the bed times, the baths, the cookouts, the Phillies playoffs, the holiday's, the fights and the laughs. He has permeated all that our home offers and holds. I said it at the service and I still live it today--- I hold his memory and warmth inside me and miss him EVERY SINGLE DAY.A room for some months:

I only knew Chris for about 10 years. For those of you who had the pleasure of knowing him longer, I will be eternally envious.
I met Chris through my friend Don Allaband. A co-worker of ours had thrown a party at his house and Don had invited Chris. We became friends the instant we shook hands. We drank and talked about various topics that guys in their early 20's seemed to be obsessed with.
About halfway through the evening Chris and I set out to restock the beer that had been quickly consumed by our fellow partygoers. During that time Chris was driving this T-top car that was built to be driven fast. And that night we drove it real fast. We took the long way back to the party, listening to music and laughing, all the while cementing our friendship.
I will always miss Chris but I will never forget him.
I'm glad I was able to visit and share my grief with his loved ones.

When i was in fourth grade, i had to do a PA project. I chose to do in on the Chester County Courthouse. Chris offererd to give me and my dad a tour and help get the information i needed. He gave us a tour and i was really interested in the security and camera's and he wanted to take us to different places. I remember it as being very fun and enjoyed the time together. I will miss him very much !

I remember a couple years ago when i was bouncing on the trampoline with my younger cousins and he was pelting us with excersize balls at full speed then he nailed my cousin who probably then just turned 1 then the little guy just got up and went on his merily way then he hit my other cousin who was probably only 3 then he fell down and started crying like the world was about to end. It was so funny.
