Anna I. Debold O'Neill, 93, passed away Nov. 1st at Compassionate Care Hospice comforted by her son Nick and daughter in law Mary.

Additional survivors include sons Kevin, Los Angeles, CA, Walter, New York City, grandsons Nick and Greg, Kennett Square, PA, brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Kathleen Debold, Warwick, NY, numerous nieces and nephews and many dear friends

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas E. O'Neill in 1969 and her brothers Walter, Robert and John.

Anna grew up in Belleville, New Jersey. She attended Newark College of Engineering, Fairleigh Dickinson University and Seton Hall University. During WWII she was an engineer at Walter Kidde in New Jersey. Near the end of the war she married and went on to raise three sons. Later, returning to work she became a realtor and then a secretary at several companies including Hoffman LaRoche Pharmaceuticals in New Jersey, from which she retired as a research analyst. While at Hoffman LaRoche she earned the distinction of being named Secretary of the Year by the East Coast Chapter of the National Assoc. of Certified Private Secretaries. Anna was a proud member of the Mensa Society.

After retiring from Hoffman LaRoche she relocated to Los Angeles where she pursued a career as an actress, appearing in commercials, TV shows (Golden Girls) and made for television movies (The Oliver North Story). She studied and became a magician and a professional clown, known as "Lady the Clown" as a member of the Merry Maker Clowns, often performing for children in hospitals.

Following her third or fourth retirement she took up portrait and still life painting, leaving many wonderful pieces by which generations
will remember her

For the past four years Anna resided at Windsor Place in Hockessin, DE where she made many friends.

Her family is grateful for the kindness and attention given to Anna by the Valiante and Moyer families and by the staff of Windsor Place. The family especially wants to thankCompassionate Care Hospice and Anna's nurse, Tracy, for their touching level of care.

Funeral services will be private. Internment will be in Belleville, NJ.
