Charles "Rudy" Arthur Roberts

CHARLES "Rudy" ARTHUR ROBERTS, age 94, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011, at Ware Presbyterian Village, Oxford, PA. He was the husband of Anna Hineman Roberts, with whom he shared 31 years of marriage. His first wife of 34 years, Jeanette Musser Roberts, passed away in 1974.

Born in Honey Brook, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur and Florence Keller Roberts.

Rudy was an Inventory Manager at Road Machinery in Eagle, PA, retiring after 25 years of service.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kennett Square and the Kennett Area Senior Center.

He enjoyed going to the Senior center, bowling, doing crafts, travelling and being with his family.

He was an avid sports fan.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Donald C. Roberts and his wife Linda of Springfield, PA; one daughter, Sondra R. Waibel and her husband Wayne of Unionville, PA; four granddaughters, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson; three step sons, Clifford Hineman, Martin Hineman and Ed Hineman, all of Chadds Ford, PA; one step daughter, Suzanne Jenkins of Horsham, PA, and many step grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Harlan Roberts, George Roberts and Edison Roberts and one step son, Donald Hineman.

Services and Burial will be private.
