Helen C Duncan

Helen C. Duncan, age 86, of Port Penn, DE, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Helen, a talented homemaker, was born in Gillespie, IL on November 16, 1925. She was the youngest of four children to the late Dolph and Effie Viano.
She was a caring and strong hearted woman who was loved by many and will be missed dearly by family and friends.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 65 year, Richard F. Duncan, age 99; her daughter and caregiver, Cathy and her husband Dennis Lawrence; son, Raymond F. Duncan and his wife Kay; grandchildren, Helena Strohmaier, Heather Duncan, Siobain Malandriccolo, and Scott Duncan; and great grandchildren, Haleigh, Ryan, Logan, and Garrett.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at BEESON FUNERAL HOME, 2053 Pulaski Hwy, Newark, DE 19702 from 12-1 pm. Her service will follow at 1 pm. Interment will be in Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
