PATRICIA A. LaFRANCE, age 76, of Kennett Square, PA, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011, at her residence. She was the wife of Ralph James LaFrance who passed away in 1991, and with whom she shared 37 years of marriage.
Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Hazel Deery Barnes.
She and her husband were the owners of the former Springs Valley Inn, Avondale, PA. After that she had worked at various restaurants and shops in the area.
She was an active member at the Kennett Area Senior Center and a member of St. Patrick's Church in Kennett Square.
Patricia enjoyed going to the Casinos, playing the slot machines, and playing Poker at the Senior Center
She is survived by one son, James Vincent LaFrance and his wife Beverly of Avondale, PA; one daughter, Denise Hagerty of Kennett Square, PA, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren; one sister, Janice Keen of West Grove, PA.
She was predeceased by one son, Ralph James LaFrance, Jr., and one daughter, Vicky La France
Her Memorial service will be held at 1:00 Wednesday afternoon, November 23, 2011, at the Kennett Area Senior Center, 427 South Walnut Street, Kennett Square, PA
Burial will be private.
