ROBERT WILLIAM NORRIS, age 69, of Kennett Square, passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 4, 2011. He was the husband of Irene Edwards Norris, with whom he shared 48 years of marriage.

Born in Ashe Co., NC, he was the son of the late Guavin T. and Geneva Michael Norris.

Mr. Norris worked for the NVF Co. in Kennett Square , retiring in 2002, after 32 years of service.

He enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening, collecting and repairing antique radios, collecting trains, was an avid reader and loved all animals.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Rob Norris and his wife Sellena of Wilmington, DE; one daughter, Cathy Piacentino and her husband Joe of Kennett Square, PA; one sister, Jeanie Gribbons of Dover, DE and six grandchildren.

You are invited to visit with his family and friends from 2:00 to 3:00 on Friday afternoon, September 9, 2011, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA (Phone: 610-444-4116). His funeral service will follow at 3:00. Burial will be private.
