RYAN JOSEPH HANZOOK, age 24, of Kennett Square, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 12, 2011, at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.
Ryan was born in Annapolis, MD, and spent the last 20 years of his life residing in Kennett Square with his family. He was the son of Joseph "Rocky" J. Hanzook, Jr., and Susan L. (Wilhide) Hanzook.
In addition to his parents, Ryan is survived by his sister, Amy (Moreland) Krause, brother-in-law, Michael Krause, brother, Craig Moreland, extended family and friends.
Ryan was a 2005 graduate of Kennett High School and was a student at Champs Barber School in Lancaster, PA. He had a passion for barbering, a wonderful sense of humor, and deeply touched the hearts of all who knew him.
We are so happy that Ryan had found new love in his girlfriend, Jessica Peirson, and her daughter, Olivia. He truly loved and cherished his short time with them.
You are invited to visit with Ryan's family from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday evening, September 16, 2011, at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home, located at 250 West State Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348 (Phone: 610-444-4116). An additional visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00AM, Saturday morning, September 17, 2011, at the Episcopal Church of the Advent, 401 N. Union Street (Union and Fairthorn Streets), Kennett Square, PA. Ryan's funeral service will follow at 10:00am and burial will take place at Union Hill Cemetery, Kennett Square, PA, located adjacent to the church.
In memory of Ryan, a contribution may be made to the Champs Barber School, 54 W. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. Donations will be used for students in need of financial assistance.
