Stephen Mark Reed

Stephen Mark Reed, age 52, of Claymont, DE died peacefully on December 8, 2011

Stephen was a 1977 graduate of Claymont High School, attended University of Delaware, Delaware Tech & Goldey Beacom College. Stephen worked most recently for T and S Roofing. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family and friends. He was a wonderful and devoted son and will be greatly missed by his family. He was always kind to children and animals. He was also very thoughtful and helpful to his family and friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Compassionate Care Hospice for their loving care to Stephen and their support to his family.

Stephen is survived by his parents, Arthur "Bud" and Sherry Reed; three brothers, Arthur S. Reed, III of Pasadena California, David A. Reed of Etters, PA. and Douglas R. Reed of Mechanicsburg, PA.; one sister, Mary E. Lawrence and her husband Walter of Claymont; DE; lovely nieces, Jillanna E., and Melissa E. Lawrence; and his wonderful and extremely devoted best friend, Judy Enders.

Funeral services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the GEBHART FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703 on Sunday evening, December 11, from 7 -9pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 702-B, Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE. 19805.
