Such wonderful words have been spoken about Bill. He's just one of those souls so filled with life that it will always be unbelievable he is no longer here with us.
All I can say at this point is a repeat of what I wrote privately to some family members.

Bill, you could not have left behind any greater legacy than this........

When people think of you, they smile.

We should all be so loved.

Uncle Bill never failed to make someone smile. I keep expecting him to walk through the door, saying something ridiculous. Whenever you wanted to joke around, he was the guy to go to. He made family gatherings more enjoyable, causing laughter to erupt every second, lighting up people's faces. He was an amazing person, whom so many people cared about. I miss you, Uncle Bill, and I love you. Rest in peace.

Once, I asked Bill, "Why do you run everywhere?" He responded, "Why wouldn't I?" That is how Bill lived his life... running and laughing... cracking jokes... pushing people in the pool. If Bill got the chance to push you in the pool in you clothes, he would jump up and down with delight! Part of the little boy, in Bill, never left him, which is part of what made him such a great father to Christopher and Steven.

I will forever miss him...

To all who shared their consciousness with Billy! How glad you are to have known him.....up or down, laughing or yelling... he put his spirit into all of it.

I'm glad to have known him, even for a short time while he repaired and renovated. HIs humor was shared and always was appreciated. I just know that his ideas will live on in Tom and of course his sons.

I loved it when I ran into bill, I was exciting to talk about what ever because it was a guaranteed laugh. We loved laughing about everything. He is a genuine good guy. He loved giving his sons something fun to do.One of the most recent episodes was when I left my Keys in my truck at brandywine hardware . Bill saw that and decided to hide my truck. I was deep in the store and saw my truck moving.

When I got up to it and saw Bill he said that was the fastest he ever saw me move and was unsure if I was gonna be mad. Seeing Bill do that to me actually made me happy. My deepest condolences go out to all of the family. Bill will be very much missed by me and everyone I know that knows Bill. God Bless

Christopher, Steven and the entire Wilson family, I am so sorry for the untimely loss of your dad (Bill). My prayers are with you at this time.

The last conversation Bill and I had was on the phone and we caught up on all our memories of high school days.
We laughed while Tommy knocked on the bathroom door of which Bill had locked Tommy out of (being he had taken Tom's cell phone with me on it) and we reminisced of the old days.
I am so grateful for that conversation. Miss you Bill and your wonderful intelligence and sense of humor.
You were one of a kind.

Wow we are still in shock. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Dont even know how to put into words the way we feel. Lots of old Memories are flooding back and Wow life really is too short. Let us know if there is anything that we can do. Rog and Verda send their love as well.

It still seems surreal that I am typing this, but it just goes to show you that God has a plan for everyone and we just never know what his plan is for you or the ones you love. It's always going to be hard not having you around, especially when the holidays hit, but those stories that we have been telling are going to be a constant reminder of how lucky we were to have you in the family and that you are always going to be with us. You were such a loving father to Chris and Steve and you have 4 brothers, 2 sisters, in-laws, nieces, a nephew, extended family and friends who love them and will be here for them. Rest in peace, Uncle Bill.. I know you, Mom-mom and Grandpop are all sharing a huge cheese tray in heaven somewhere. :) Love Cindy
